The Red Rain of Death

Poetry By: Chrysta
Horror

The angry rain is posessed by death...torturing those who dare to ride the mad carousel.

A harsh rain
Muddies the rivers
A harsh rain
Dampens hopes.
Desolate lands
Enshrouded in the
Rumbling
Pouring rains of death.
Misty forms lost to another,
Reaching out.
Drowning,
Down in the puddles.
Crystalline ice hides
Faces frozen in fear.
Later,
Those fingers
Those searching eyes,
Are frozen in time.
Faster and faster
Spins the merry go round
Music warbling
Dull plastic eyes
Crackle with electricity
As the rain falls
The children scream
Drowning in death,
Rains of blood,
Death's head,
Rears around,
Like the,
Spinning.
Mad,
Twirling.
Mad,
Merry go round.
