Since the day that i was born,
you were out to get me,
with the light of the coming dawn,
you were out to get me,
for fourteen years, i have been silent
waiting for my time,
in sleep and in waking life,
the tingling itch, of your stabbing kinfe
because, since the dayI was born,
you were out to get me,
with the light of the coming dawn,
you were out to get me,
your grinning face in my dreams,
your frozen hands around my heart,
trying to tear my life apart,
since the day i was born,
you were out to get me,
with the light of the coming dawn ,
you were out to get me.
