What happens when your happy place is over run with evil?

Fairytale Tears

Among the trees a child did weep

A coat with a scarlet glow

Long blonde locks accompany her

As diamond tears begin to flow

And in her hands a book she keeps

To bottle all her fears

But still she cannot run from them

Though she has tried for many years

They take her with a firm cool grip

As her legs deny her freedom

So she will cut across her mind

And escape into her golden kingdom

Her kindest people are saved from towers

Others wake from under glass

Three little pigs squeal beneath brick

As the child does skip and laugh

Yet wicked witches cast dark spells

And a fearsome wolf bears his teeth

Apples poison the palest of folk

And the child is sent beneath

Frayed blonde locks damp with tears

Shaking fists rip the pages

As the most evil witches inject her flesh

And she is sent through desperate rages

Vacant eyes missing their sparkle

A gown absent of a red glow

Beneath the willows of the asylum

Her diamond tears do flow
