Christmas Murderer(ShannonxSilence Dramatic Christmas Challenge)

Poetry By: mommy3

A Christmas poem about a fateful night for a man. Will he ever see his family on Christmas or will he die? I just found out I won third place in ShannonxSilence Dramatic Christmas Challenge. Thanks ShannonxSilence for hosting such a fun challenge. :)

Christmas Murderer

She came from behind with a knife.

I was scared for my life.

Christmas time was supposed to be full of cheer.

Except when you are running from fear

She told me to be quiet and go with the flow.

Otherwise I would be dealt with a fatal blow.

She became excited with my fearfulness.

And I noticed she was full of cheerfulness.

She wanted to play a game.

It was called who to blame.

I begged her not to end my life.

I told her that I would miss my wife.

I wished I would have seen my family one last time.

To tell them I love them and that I was fine.

She slit my throat and threw me in the boat.

I just realized that it was my ex-wife who was the killer.

I will never see Christmas or my family again.

She screamed Merry Christmas all and have a good fright.
