Symbiosis Tango

Poetry By: neji chan

This is a poem about lonely ghosts in a forgotten cemetery. I wrote it when listening to "Aoi Tsuki" by Dir en grey, so that explains the song.

Roses emerge from the ground.
They feed on the blood of the forgotten-wrapping around the tomb stones.
Bright red in colour with thorns as sharp as knives
They claim the cemetery as their own.
Never dying, they feed off of broken hearts and lost dreams
Such a parasitism.
Long after the residing corpses are forgotten
They keep them company.
The ghosts lost in time-Trapped in an ever-lasting life of invisibility.
Blood-red roses feed off of their broken hearts.
Tears and blood nourish them.
Such a parasitism.
They keep the company of wondering spirits.
As red as the hearts of the forgotten,
They reside in the cemetery.
The field of the forgotten, untouched by time.
