Wistful horror poem?

He rides strange highways
into the night,
Dark highways no one else
can ever see.
Highways where second chances
may be granted,
Where those who died young
may live again,
And those who did evil
finally pay.
Old scores must be settled
by enemies,
On this highway of life
highway of death.
