The shortest story that I have written. It's about zombies, but the ending will make you laugh. I'm not making sense so I'll stop explaining

It's too quiet... that could only mean that... the whole school got eaten by zombies...

I collapse on the floor, then buried my head on my knees and stayed completely still. My hands are itching, wanting to punch something or someone to the wall. I want to make them pay for what they've done.

"HELP ME!!!" a feminine voice cried out. I shook my head. Following the direction where I heard the voice, I ran. Finally I saw them, the zombie and a little girl. The little girl is wearing pigtails, pink dress and pink sandals. The zombie's arm is around her neck, choking her. Quietly, I pulled my knife out of my back pocket and made my way towards them.

The zombie who is still choking the girl didn't notice my approach. I walked behind the zombie's back, stabbed it and dragged it away from her.

"Why did you kill it?" the little girl asked.

"It was trying to eat you, remember?"

"But that was my momma!"

"Not anymore, it's not!"

"You're mean! Why are boys always so mean?" she asked in her whiny voice.

I am about to answer back, when her appearance suddenly changed. Her chocolate brown eyes turned into red... sharp teeth sprouted out of her mouth... her nails turned into claws... and ugly horrible wings came out from her back.

"You will pay for that!" the tone of her voice became loud and cruel, that it chilled my bones.

"MONSTER!!!" I shouted, suddenly standing up.

I looked around me, noticing the different surroundings and everyone looking at me, staring with their mouths open.

"Sleeping in class again, Tyler?" Ms Spencer asked. As if broken by a spell, everyone laughed all at once.
