The Angel turned to Abraham and said.

"Three fourths D.Vower's followers were annialated in this battle. He spent the next eleven centuries rebuilding his empire. After this the Priest faded into the background of history. Silently protecting humanity from all Evil that threatened it."

"How did that man stop the elephant Shotgun threw at him?"

"Have you ever read the book of Samson?"

Samson, the long haired judge of israel who had superstrength, and killed a thousand men with a donkeys jaw bone. Yes, Abraham had read it.

"God gives humans certain gifts. Some can move mountains, heal wounds, see into the future, and also talk to your very Soul. I've even seen one who could raise an army of undead. It's not an uncommon gift. Copper the boy that carried you in can do it."

Abraham scruntched up his eyebrows and wondered if she was talking about the army of the dead or super strength.

"Ruth that was you, wasnt it? The big nuclear bomb thing that destroyed Amanda?" Abraham asked.

"No", Ruth said humbly.

"Ansem prayed for help, God heard his cry and sent Gabriel. One of the strongest angels in heaven"

Abraham then looked at the desert environment that was now reconfiguring itself to the room where his physical body slept.

"Then why doesn't Gabriel go kill D.Vower now?"

"Because that task has been given to you." She said warmly.

"ME?"

"Yes, it is your birth right. The Priest King. Defeating the dark ones and protecting the innocent. Ansem was your ancestor Abraham, his blood runs through your veins. Amanda cannot be allowed back into this world again. D.Vower would destroy everything."

"No, i cant this is too much! How can one man defend the whole world!?" Abraham said as he walked to the bed and sat on it.

"You are not alone. A whole army is outside waiting." she said and she looked at the door.

"D.Vower may be extremely powerful, but he has one thing you dont." Ruth said.

"Whats that?" Abraham said

"Power. Pure, unconquerable power. Bad guys know it too. That's why they plucked you up and tried to twist and pervert you like they did to Shotgun and Needles. until there's nothing left but what used to be a person."

"They were human once?" Abraham said shocked.

"Along time ago, decades before the battle. D.Vower likes to take what God makes and bring out the darkness in people."

"Where were all of you when that happened? why didnt you rescue me before i made that deal?

"D.Vower found you and killed your guardian angel Merrick." Abraham didnt know how to feel about this. Angry? Sad?

"Then you were lost to us, he cloaked you in magic. We had no idea where you or D.Vower were until.."

Ruth pulled out a newspaper with a picture of Needles stabbing a troll on top of a van. The headine said "Research Insitute Home to Monsters?

"Then all we had to do was wait for you to be alone."

"Thank you Ruth" Abraham said sincerely.

Ruth came closer to Abraham and sat next to him on the bed. she held his hand.

"Something I must warn you about. You haven't had your soul in months. When you wake up, you're going to have some side effects."

"Like what?"

"Schizophrenia, paranoia, insomnia, high fever, mood swings and a little bit of dry mouth." She said blankly.

Abraham looked scared.

"It will only be for a three days! Then you should be back to normal." She reassured him.

Ruth got up and headed to the door.

"Oh, and the older man with the tattoos and long hair. Thats Winston. Winston Grey. Be sure and thank him for putting your soul back, okay?"

Abraham nodded then stared at the floor as the door shut behind her. He waited as he felt himself come back to reality. Waited for insanity.
