"I'm Gary Scott and I haven't been able to sleep right for ten weeks." I look at the rest of them. They just stare at me not saying a word. I recognize one from the supermarket down the street. Karen, that was her name. She bagged my groceries last Saturday I was there. Still there was silence. It got me angry. This was supposed to be a GROUP meeting. I got so hot I was about to scream when Matt, the lead counseler broke the silence.
"Thank you Gary. Now what do you think has given you this insomnia?"
'Well, I have been having really bad dreams. Lately there was this one where my wife shot me with a rifle. She licked up the blood and everything. It was horrible." Everyone stared at me now. Half of them looked bewildered and the other half looked flabbergasted. I realized I had said the wrong thing and sat back down. This made me even more embarassed and that turned into more anger. I scanned the room again and saw my wife in the back. Oh, no I thought. I just emarassed her in front of people in public. Boy was I going to not get laid tonight. I sighed when the next person in the circle, Tina rose up. I looked at my wife and gave an apologetic smile. She smiled back evily and took something out of her purse. Next thing I knew she was right in front of me and pointed a solver gun to my temple. Everyone else was gone. The room was blank. Now there was no room. Everything around me was just white. "Honey...What are you doing?" She didn't say anything and kept the gun to my temple. This had to be a dream. "This is all just a dream. Wait, how can all this be a dream? I was just sitting there a minute ago. This is all a dream. This is all a dream. It's just from the insomnia, thats all."
"You're not an insomniac. You're just crazy." She shot the gun into me and I fell to the floor looking up at my wife. My last sight was her coming down and licking the blood clean off m face.
