The damp smell of the earth permeated the room. Something had gone wrong in there. Everyone who passed wrinkled their nose in disgust. Little children would fuss as their parents dragged them by the room. An aurora of evil seemed to affect anyone who passed.

                A priest had come, but he would not enter the room. He said his prayers and flung holy water from the doorway. It did not help.

                The room went unoccupied from many years. The people who had stayed there did not stay long. The aurora of evil was too strong. The room remained empty.

 

                Years have passed, and the room has remained empty. The evil that took place there still possesses the space. It has not dissipated or diminished. It will be there for eternity, menacing the world that created it.
