"Mommy?!" in a faint voice Jack tried to interrupt his parents fight. "Jack! Go to your room and study!" She yelled at him. "But, mommy…" "Didn't you listen what your mother just said! Go to your room young man! Go back to your books!" his dad yelled at him. Sad Jack heads back to his room…

After 50 years…

"Mommy, mommy this house is shoo big!!" Tina, the younger of the two daughters of Ms. Klerikson shouted. They recently brought this house off a good real estate deal. Ms. Klerikson was a single parent. Her husband had died 3 years ago; she changed the house to keep away from the memories. Her daughters were too young to realize what was going on. The younger daughter, Tina, was 5 year old and the elder one, Marie, was 8 years old. It was a new beginning for the Klerikson family. Everyone was very happy and excited about the new house.

"Marie and Tina go up to your room and get fresh. Till then I will prepare the soups for you two." Smiled Ms. Klerikson. "Okay mommy!" both of them replied. They went up to their new room. Both were very excited. They freshened up quickly and ran downstairs for the supper.

"Mmm...It's delicious mommy!" Tina said. "Well thank you dear. Now finish it up and then we can all play a game." "Yay! Game!" Both shouted in excitement.

50 Years before…

"Mommy, why are you crying mommy?" Jack asked. "It's none of your business; go to your room Jack." Wendy replied in a crying voice. "But mommy…" "Didn't you hear what I just said? Your dad will be here soon. Please listen to me once, you brat!" Jack goes up to his room.

"Sad Jack…back to toys. Sad Jack…only friends, no voice. Sad Jack…stuck in the shack." Jack sang this melody to his only friends. "What's that Mr Teeny? You want to play? What do you want to play today? Mr Teddy said he won't come. He is feeling sick."…

After 50 years…

Mrs Klerikson was happy. Happier than ever, everything was going perfect, according to her plans. Her two daughters were going to a good school; she had a great job a great house and no problems till now. It was a long time since she had this happy and easy life.

"Mommy, mommy!" shouted Tina. She was back from school. She hugged her mother and kissed her. "Did you know mommy, the blue whale is shooooo big!" Tina told in excitement. "Oh really dear, tell mommy more about it." Ms. Klerikson smiled. They both went up to the room, where she changed Tina while listening to what happened in school. Then suddenly the bell rang. Marie had also come home. They were a one small happy family.

But, there happiness was about to get disturbed. By an unknown being, a mystic force. Nobody wanted that, but it was fate. It was going to happen.

50 years before…

"Mr. Teddy, they are up to it again…" Jack said. "What? Do you really want me to? Ok, Mr Teddy! I will do as you say…" He heads downstairs. "Mommy…" "You little pipsqueak, you're back again…!" His father shouted. "SHUT UP!" Jack replied. This time, there was no innocence, no weakness. Both of the parents were shocked. "Mind your lang…" "SHUT UP!" Jack shouted again. His father tried to approach him, but this time Jack had a knife. His father got a little scared. "Teddy said, play a game. Jack will play a little game. Mommy stands daddy duck. If you can't duck, then Jack makes you die." Both of the parents were scared. They didn't know what to do. They just stood there. Jack starts moving while he was standing, it was almost hypnotic. He kept on saying, "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy… All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy…" And suddenly he jumps on his father.

Jack starts stabbing him, and starts to count, "One… two…buckle up my shoe. Three… four… shut the door. Five… six…pick up the sticks. Seven…eight…lay them straight. Nine…ten…" He looks up towards his mother, "Don't be afraid mommy! It will be all over soon…" He then attacks her, and starts stabbing her too. "They are dead Mr. Teddy. What do you want me to do now? Really? Will that be fun? Okay!" Jack goes up the balcony and jumps off killing himself…

After 50 years…

"Mommy, mommy! Look what I found in my room." Tina shouted. Her mother came running from the kitchen. "What is it sweety?!" Tina was holding a small teddy bear. "Isn't it cute mommy?" She smiled while playing with it. "Oh sweets, you really scared me there. " "Can I keep it?" "Well, the old owners' child must have forgotten it, and I don't know where they are staying now. So, sure dear" Smiled Ms. Klerikson. "You can keep it. But, it's so dirty, let mommy wash it first." "Okay mommy!" Tina replied.

It was a cute soft toy. Just like any other toy Tina had. That night, Tina hugged it and slept peacefully. The next morning when Tina woke up, she placed the Teddy carefully on her table and started getting ready for her school. When she came back from the shower, she again checked on her teddy. She kissed it goodbye and went off to school.

Her mother was waiting for her at the gate as usual, when then school ended. But today, Tina didn't hug or kissed her. She went straight up to her room to check on Mr. Teddy. "Mommy!" she shouted. Mrs. Klerikson came running up the stairs. "What happened dear?" "Where Is Mr. Teddy?" "I have kept him inside your cupboard, with the rest of your toys." "Why mommy? Please keep it out; I want to play with it." Marie was back home till then. Tina and Marie generally shared every single toy, so as the old tradition Marie asked, "Can I play with your teddy, Tina?" to her surprise, Tina shouted "No!"

Everyone was shocked. Tina took Mr. Teddy on the garden and started playing with it. This behaviour went on for weeks. Tina started to change; she started to hum different rhymes. She started talking so little. Mrs Klerikson got worried.

One day, Mrs. Klerikson was called by one of Tina's teacher from her school. "Ms. Klerikson, this is a serious matter. Look what Tina drew." It was a picture of a young boy stabbing someone and there were rhymes above the picture. "Upon asking, Tina replied Jack told her and then she said, all work and no play made Jack a dull boy. I think she is suffering from a serious disease." Mrs. Klerikson got worried. She had heard rumours about the house she was living in, but she never was a believer. She went to the library first to check on some old newspapers. There it was, "A family murdered by a young boy named Jack." This worried Mrs Klerikson more scared.

She heads back home, and tries to talk to Tina, "Hello sweetie! How are you?" "Mommy, Jack says you don't love me anymore. Is that true, mommy?" "No dear, it's not true at all." "Why don't you love me mommy?" Tina starts crying and runs up to her room. Mrs. Klerikson was confused, what to do.

That night, Tina comes down from her room and says, "Mommy…" This time her voice was different. It wasn't Tina who was speaking, Mrs. Klerikson knew that. It was someone else. But still she replied, "Yes dear, what's wrong." She starts speaking, ""Teddy said, play a game. Tina will play a little game. Mommy stands Marie duck. If you can't duck, then Tina makes you die." Both Mrs. Klerikson and Marie were scared. Tina was holding a knife. She jumped on her sister and when she was about to stab her, "Nooo!" "Yesss…she hates you!" "No she loves me, mommy loves me!" Tina starts to speak with herself and falls on the ground. Mrs. Klerikson tries to help Tina but Tina defends herself. "No! Don't come!" Tina starts running around, and Marie and Mrs. Klerikson both in tears, tries to follow her.

"Please come back sweety, please…" Mrs. Klerikson shouts while crying. But it was too late; Tina was at the window, the same place from where Jack had died. "Look mommy…I can fly…I can save…" With these words, Tina jumps. There was a smile on her face, as if she had finally reached peace, as if she saved the one she loved, as if she reached her destiny. Mrs. Klerikson cried in agony. But she was too late to save her little daughter.

The next day, after the funeral, Mrs. Klerikson goes up to Tina's room and tries to find the teddy. She picks up the Teddy from her pillow and throws it in the fire place, watching it burn. Thinking it was the root of all evil. Thinking she would destroy it. She and Marie left that house that very day.

5 years later…

"Mommy, Daddy…what a big house this is! This is awesome!" Ethan shouted in excitement. Mr and Mrs. Harrison moved to the house. They had a cheap deal. Ethan was a 6 years old boy. He runs straight up to his room. "Mommy! Daddy!" shouts Ethan. The both came running to his room. "What is it dear? What happened?" "Look what I found, what a cute Teddy, can I keep it..."
