Blood stained the walls, the floor, the desks, the chairs, and myself.

"Anna?" I reached out to her with tears filling my eyes.

"ANNA!" I screamed.

My eyes flashed open and I breathed hard as I clutched my chest. A dream is what most people would call it, but it's not the same for me.

"Troy! Time for school." My older brother called out to me.

"R-Right." I replied.

Nick is my older brother, he's sixteen right now. He can be cocky at times, somewhat of a jerk, but is pretty nice most of the time. He has light brown hair, tanish skin, and green eyes.

My name is Troy, I'm fourteen years old. There's nothing much to tell you all about my personality other than I don't really have one. That's only because I'm usually busy doing one thing over and over again.

I have bright light blonde hair, very white skin, and super light blue eyes.

I slowly got dress and slumped all the way downstairs and into the kitchen.

I checked the date on my phone. It said March 13 on it.

Nick was already eating his breakfast, mom was making coffe, and dad was reading the newspaper.

"You look tired, did you get enough sleep last night?" Mom walked over to me.

"Eh, it's not that. Um-" I started.

"Well what is it, you've looked tired every morning for sometime now." Dad looked up from his newspaper.

"Yeah, what's up bro." Nick gave a funny smile.

"Um well, it's kind of hard to explain." I went on.

"We don't care, just tell us. We want to know." Nick flashed another smile.

"Okay. What if I told you guys that I have been having dreams of someone dying. It's the same every night and then it happens. I've been trying each day to save her but she keeps dying and I wake up like it was another dream. I don't even know if this is reality of not!?" I started to cry a bit.

I watched mom look at dad. They both had weird face expressions.

"Are you serious?!" Nick slammed his hands off the table.

"What?" I hesitated to ask.

"Come on, you've got to be joking here. That's not true!" Nick sounded angry.

"No, I'm not!" I sighed.

"Do you feel like your not getting enough attention or love from us all?" Mom rubbed my back.

"No, why?" I questioned.

"Well, cause this whole thing. It seems unlikely that that's possible to ever happen." Dad answered for mom.

"You all don't believe me, do you?" I felt myself choking on my throat.

"Sort of." Nick flattly stated.

"I-I'm not lying! You guys have to believe me!" I shouted at them all.

Mom looked shock while dad hid behind his newspaper. On the other hand Nick seemed to get more angry with every word that I said about the subject.

"You know what, lets see then. I'll stay with you the whole day today." Nick explained.

"Fine." I easily I agreed.

With Nick saying he'll stay with me the whole day, maybe everything will change.

I ate my breakfast in silence. No one talked throughout the whole morning.

I grabbed my bag and headed out the door with Nick.

Nick didn't even talk to me while we waited for the bus. So we just stood there in silence instead.

The bus pulled up to fast stop in front of us.

I looked at the bus windows to see Anna already on the bus, she waved to me with a friendly smile on her face.

I waved back to her and smile too.

Nick boarded the bus first and I followed him. I took a seat next to Anna while Nick sat with a friend of his two seats behind us.

"Hey Troy." Anna greeted me.

"Hi Anna." I returned the greeting.

"Ready for history class today?" Anna asked.

I felt my heart skip a beat and then continue on only getting faster and faster with each second.

"Y-Yeah why wouldn't I be?" I gulped a bit.

"That's good, I am too." She giggled.

"Cool." I nodded my head.

I could feel my throat go dry once the bus stopped at school.

My stomach started twisting and turning as I stummbled to get off the bus.

Anna and I walked to our lockers while Nick followed me to mine.

"So, when's this horrible death going to occur." Nick smiled sarcasticly at me.

"First period, but I'm going to try to prevent it if I can." I mentioned to him.

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes at me.

The bell rang and we all went to our first class.

Anna took her seat as I took mine.

I watched her carefully.

"Hey, I talked to the principle and he said that I can be with you all day." Nick took a seat and placed it at my desk.

"Today class we'll be talking about the Indus River." Mr. Randle wrote on the board.

My breathing slowly became shallow as I watched the ceiling above Anna start to break.

I jumped from my seat and grabbed Anna by the arm.

The ceiling fell, but luckily not on her.

"Troy?!" Anna exclaimed.

"I'm so glad your safe!" I hugged her tightly.

I breathed a sigh of relief to myself.

Maybe with Nick being here he broke the cycle.

I opened my eyes, still hugging her.

A student behind her was holding scissors was walking to their desk.

Someone held theri foot out to make the student trip.

"Hahaha!" They all laughed as the student fell.

They let go of the scissors which came flying like a spear at the back of Anna's head!

It all happened so fast, I was in pure shock.

Warmth hit my hands and face as they became tainted with blood.

"Anna, Anna!"

I held her still tightly within a hug.

I started to sob and cry as loudly as I could.

But then everything faded away.

I sat up in a flash. I felt my face, which had sweat streaming down it and also down my neck.

"Troy! Time for school." Troy called out to me.

"Not again, not another day!" I sobbed.

I got dressed as fast as I could and ran down the stairs.

Nick was standing with mom and dad who greeted me in the kitchen.

"Troy, I think we all need to have a talk." Dad sat me down at the table.

"Why, what happened?" I paniced.

"Well Nick told us that yesterday in history class you freaked out. I grabbed your chest and started screaming Anna's name repeatively. You also were sobbing and crying too. After that you basically went on with your day as nothing had ever happened." Mom explained.

"I asked your teachers if this has happened before and they told me yes. They just adapt to it and move on. They didn't want to worry mom and dad by telling them so they stayed silent instead." Nick folded his arms.

"But you guys don't understand! That's not what happened to me, that's not what I saw or lived!" I cried.

"Listen, Nick is going to start staying with you everyday until this madness stops." Dad said.

"But!-" I protested.

"No excuses!" Mom interupted.

I sadly sighed and looked at the ground.

Breakfast went by slowly. But it soon ended as mom picked up the phone.

"Okay, thanks." Mom smiled at the phone as she hung it up.

"What?" Nick tilted his head with a puzzled look.

"Oh nothing, I justed offered to give Troy's friend Anna and you all a ride to school. I'll pick her up at her house on the way to bringing you both to school." Mom gave us both a smiled.

I returned to smile only with a small weak one instead of a happy one.

Nick and I grabbed our bags and got into mom's car. I was nervous of what way Anna would die this time.

Mom slowled her car and drove into Anna's driveway.

I watched as Anna ran out of her house and waved to us.

She was about to open the back car door when her dog ran out of her house.

She let go of the handle and ran after her dog into the street.

"Anna!" I ran out of the car and after her.

I was just a finger tip away from her when a truck changed that.

The road was covered in blood, the front of the truck had some stains of red, and my clothes were bloody as well.

I got down on my knees and held her lifeless body in my arms.

"Anna! Oh why!?" I yelled inbetween cries.

But again, everything slowly faded away.

I awoke with tears streaming down my face. I just so badly wanted to rip my heart out of my chest.

"Troy! Time for school." Nick called out to me.

"O-Okay!" I called back to him.

I got dressed as fast as I could and dashed down the stairs. I went right pass mom, dad, and Nick. I opened the front door and ran down the street. I kept running until I came up to Anna's house.

I don't want this anymore.

"Anna!" I stood below her window.

Anna opened her window and looked down at me.

"Troy?" She rubbed her eyes.

"Yeah, I need to tell you something!" I shouted up to her.

"Okay, sure!" She happily shouted back to me.

"Don't come to school to-" I was about to finish my sentence.

Anna leaned to forward out her window and lost her footing. She fell face first to the ground!

Blood poured and gushed out from her head.

I was taken back and took a few steps away from her body.

Panic and shock to over and I ran down the road.

Everything faded and I woke up in bed.

I didn't waste a minute!

I ran out of bed, still in my sleep wear and ran into Nick's room. Nick was still there packing his bag.

"Huh? I was about to go wake you up in a few minutes." Nick sounded surprised at how I was already up.

"Please, help me." I grabbed him by his sleeve.

"What are you talking about?! Are you still going on about that whole dream thing still?" Nick brushed my hand away.

I clentched my fists and walked out of his room without a word.

I walked down stairs and grabbed my bag.

"I'm not hungry, can one of you drive me to school right now?" I didn't even face either of them.

"Ah, sure?" Dad hesitated to get up.

I climbed into the back seat and stared out the window the whole time during the drive.

Once we were at school I got out of the car and walked into the school.

I went to my locker and shoved my bag into it.

"Haahahaha! Did you here about Jake's prank? It was totally funny!" I heard some student's having a good time.

I felt sadness wash over me like a wave washing up over the beach sand.

They all got to laugh, smile, and go on with their lives. Why can't I then?

Why am I the only one going through this all? I'm all alone, and there's no one who can or will help me.

I slammed my locker shut and walked over to Anna's locker.

I put my hand up to it and slowly let my hand fall to my side.

Anna was so sweet and kind. She's my best friend and my only friend at that.

Why did it have to be her? Out of everyone in the entire world, it had to be her.

I wish it could be someone else, anyone else but her. She doesn't deserve this all.

Even if she doesn't know that I see her go through death and life all over again.

"Your already here, have you been lonely?" Anna walked up to me.

"Ah sort of." I looked at the ground.

"What's wrong? You look down." Anna lifted my face with her soft hands.

"Just life." I tried to make it as simple as I could.

"Okay, well I hope life lightens up for you." Anna sounded a bit angry at life.

"Yeah, me too." I managed a small a smile.

Anna opened her locker and started to grab some of her notebooks from it.

Suddenly someone bumped into her and her locker door. She started to fall as her locker door shut!

Her body hung as her throat was crushed by her locker!

"Anna! NO!!!" I grabbed at her hand.

But I let myself drift and I turned to the student who had caused this.

"Do you think it's funny! Huh? Do you!?" I grabbed them by the collar of their shirt.

"What are you doing?" The student pushed me away.

Everything faded away after that.

"AHHH!" I screamed as I woke up yet again.

"You okay?!" Mom called from door stairs.

"Y-Yeah!" I totally lied.

I got up, got dressed and walked down the stairs.

I grabbed a donut and ate it within seconds of taking it.

"Aren't you hungry today." Mom looked at my empty plate.

"Not really, I'm just eating so I won't starve.

"Oh." Mom lost her smile.

I then got up and waited outside.

Nick came out after a few moments.

"Man, you seem so different now a days." Nick shook his head.

"Hi!" I heard Anna's voice.

I turned to side to see Anna walk up to us both.

"Oh hey, what are you doing here?" I asked, very afraid of the future.

"Well I decided to wait for the bus with you two." She stood next to me.

I nodded my head and turned back towards the road.

The bus stoped and the doors opened.

I turned back at Anna.

I walked up the small set of stairs and looked at Anna as she walked up the stairs.

Anna's foot slipped on the last step and she fell backwards! Her head smacked the pavement and cracked open!

"A-A!" The words couldn't seem to come out.

I made my way over her body and ran for it.

I ran into the town after a few minutes of running.

It all was still the same! Nothing was fading away like it always have. Was this all real for once?

I looked around to see Anna standing by the market building.

"Hey Troy!" She waved to me.

I stopped in my tracks and stared at her.

Wasn't she dead though?!

Anna took a step forward but then was crushed by the logo of the market building.

"Anna?" I walked over to where her body was.

Shivers ran down my back and I passed her.

I made my way up to the town's bridge.

I stood on the sidewalk and leaned up against the bridge railing.

"What are you doing here?" Anna poked me on the shoulder.

"A-Anna!" I jumped back.

"Doesn't the water look beautiful from up here?" Anna laid her arm on the railing.

"Yep, it sure is." I replied quickly.

I wanted to just run away from her, but I couldn't bring myself to do that to her.

"Look a duck!" She pointed and leaned more and more away from the railing.

I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away from the railing.

She stumbled backwards and into the road.

In an instant I ran after her!

I took her by the hand and sprinted.

A car just missed Anna by a half an inch!

I lead her down the stair and soon stopped.

"What's going on?!" Anna took her hand from mine.

"It's complicated." I went to grab her hand again.

But she pulled her hand away and turned around.

"I'm going!" She puffed.

Next thing I know a window of a building shatters.

The pieces of glass become like daggars, racing towards the ground!

Anna fell slowly to the ground with glass throughout her entire body.

I didn't try to say her name this time.

I ran down the street and far away from her.

That's when everything finally started to fade away.

"Thank you!" I fell to all fours.

I awoke to see Nick sitting on the edge of my bed.

"How you doing?" He asked, feeling y forehead with the back of his hand.

"F-Fine." I lied again.

He gave me a sad look and stayed near me.

"I'm glad your alive." I said out of the blue.

"Uh, okay. Well I'm glad your alive." He smiled and rubbed my forehead.

I closed my eyes for a moment and then opened them.

My heart stopped.

Nick's eyes were all black and blood was streaming out of them like tears do.

"What's wrong?" He smiled a bloody smile at me.

I pushed his hand away and ran down the stairs.

Everything was turning to dark colors!

"Mom, dad! There's something wrong with Nick!" I screamed as I entered the kitchen.

Mom turned to me and dad put down his newspaper.

Their eyes were all black, and had blood streaming out of the them.

"What seems to be wrong with him?" Dad got up and started to walk to me.

"NOOO! Get away from me!" I rushed pass them both and out into the world.

Every person I passed or saw was the same as Nick, mom, and dad!

I ran into the forest and hid in a bush.

"Please, someone just stop this all!" I softly cried to myself.

I couldn't take this anymore at all!

I'll have to end it once and for all on my own.

Everything faded away and I woke to Nick, mom, and dad at my bedside.

"Are you okay, we heard you screaming and crying all last night in your sleep." Dad explained with concern in his tone.

"No! I'm not! But I'm going to this all." I dashed pass them all.

I again ran out of the house and to Anna' house.

"Anna! Please stay away from me! It's for the best and your safety! Trust me!" I yelled to her window.

Anna didn't open her window this time.

I waited a few minutes and the front door opened.

"What do you mean?" She walked up to me with her dog by her side.

"Just trust me okay. It's hard to explain." I backed away from her.

"But I can't-" She paused.

Her dog barked and I turned to see a cat on the other side of the road.

Anna's dog went full speed after that cat.

"Ah no!" Anna went to go run after her dog.

She ran into the street as a large van was coming.

I didn't even take a moment to think. I just did what my heart and body told me to.

I pulled Anna back and pushed myself forward.

I smiled at Anna.

"NOOO! Troy!" She held her hands to her mouth.

Blood covered the road, the sidewalk, the front of the van, myself, and Anna's clothes.

I could feel happiness over come me and warmth kick in as I closed my eyes and faded into the light.

My heart pounded and I woke up.

Everything seemed brighter for some reason.

I looked up at my clock to see it was almost time to get up for school.

I looked at the ground and slowly brought myself to my feet.

I got dressed, grabbed my bag and headed down the stairs.

"Good morning." Mom greeted me with a hug.

"G-Good morning." I hesitated.

"Hey, what's the date?" Nick walked into the kitchen.

"Let me check." Dad got out his file booklet.

"It's March 13." He read.

My heart stopped and my breathing paused for the moment being.

I ate my breakfast silently.

Was it all just a dream? Is this really realality?

Once Nick and I finished our breakfast we waited outside for the bus.

The bus pulled up to a fast stop in front of Nick and I.

My mind went into full power.

Hasn't this happened before already?

"Y-Yeah why wouldn't I be?" I replied.

"That's good, I am too." She giggled.

"Cool." I nodded my head.

As the bus neared closer to the school I could feel myself getting more nervous.

The bus finally pulled up to a stop and Anna and I walked out and it the school.

Anna and I walked to our lockers while Nick went to his.

I grabbed my text book and notebook. Anna did the same, after that we both walked into history class as the bell rang.

I took my seat while Anna took her seat.

"Today class we'll be talking about the Indus River." Mr. Randle wrote on the board.

I paid attention to Mr. Randle until the sound of something cracking and breaking broke my focus.

My heart stopped and I looked up at the ceiling.

The ceiling was breaking right above Anna!

I got up from my seat and pushed her out of the way.

"Goodbye." I smiled.
