Old Macdonald learned to text

Miscellaneous By: dibbledabble

This is my entry to Shannon Browne's 'Why Generation Nursary Rhymes' Think of a modern day situation and apply it to the Old MacDonald rhyme

The first is about texting- a pet hate, people who text to give you bad new or to let you down, rather than be man (or woman) enough to call

The other is just a little fun, not sure if there are electric tractors yet.

Old MacDonald-Learned Text

Old MacDonald learned to text

Texting 'I can't go'

And in that text he did type

'Sorry I can't go'

With a cop out here

And a cop out there

Here a cop out

There a cop out

Everyone cop out

Old Macdonald learned to text

Texting 'I can't go'

Old MacDonald's Tractor

Old MacDonald had an electric tractor

Lithium-ion batteries go go go!

And on that tractor he had some photo sensitive cells

Forty LED lights in a row

With a whir whir here

And a whir whir there

Hear a whir

There a whir

Everywhere a whir whirrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Old Macdonald had an electric tractor

Chargings very slow.
