The Stupidity of a Crush

A crush is a very spupid thing to do that you don't intend to do.  I would know!

You admit to a crush even when you say you won't!  A friend asks " Do you like him?" And at first you say "No I don't!".

A crush is totally stupid because when you think it's come and gone, days later  you will notice it never left!

Just because the person exists is not a reason to like that person! And other than that and the way they look, in reality..what is the reason???

If they are younger or their older, it won't make a difference. It shouldn't anyway. But yet, conscience says "Don't do it!"

So, by now, you may wonder why I would say to not have a crush if it is stupid.

Well, some people just never stop doing stupid things.

Now here are some reasons to this stupid crush of mine: or maybe yours:

I thought he was older. I didn't know his age til yesterday.  He acts more mature than the age that he is.  nd did I mention I didn't know how old he was?

Now ask me if I feel a little guilty, now that I know his true age.

"Yes, a little"

Why?

Because he probably thinks I am stupid and he is probably mad at me.

Why would he be mad at you?

Because secretly I was stupid and gave him flowers and an unsigned note. And yes, now I think it WAS stupid- after the fact.

Were they sissyish or were they an arrangement a guy might like?

I don't know!  Do guys even like flowers? Sheesh, I'm an idiot. Should have bought the flowers for myself! A guy did put them together and all I did was choose the flower

What flower did you choose?

A carnation. Blue to be exact.

It sounds guyish... But maybe..well, was their baby'sbreath in the arrangement?

Of course not! only a fern and some other green foilage. Deffinately not stupid enough to put baby's breath in the 'manly' arrangement. that would be stupid!

But you just said you were stupid for sending it anyway so...Why would he think to be mad at you when he doesn't know it was from you?

Wrong.  I think he knows it was me.  He definately knows me too. I am older than him and I thought it was only by 2 years.

Why would you like someone younger anyways?

Oh He acted MORE mature than the otehrs and I guess my actions went ahead of my thoughts with the flower deal. I gave them before KNOWING his age.

I see, so you didn't sign your name to the flowers.  Why?

Cuz I wanted him to receive something nice without thinking he had to do something nice in return. Especially if he doesn't like me back.

So, you think he may not like you? Cuz if he likes you, none of this would even be relevant!

Yes.

Why wouldn't he like you?

I  am older than him and his friend's sister and I am sure there are other reasons.

Will you tell him who sent the flowers?

No

Why not? Are you embarrassed?

No.

Then why not tell him?

Because now that I gave him the flowers, if he knew who sent them it could scare him off.

This courtroom ORDERS you to tell him that you have a stupid crush on him!

I plea the 5th.

THe 5th?

Yes, the5th amendment to the constitution.

Fine. Will you quit your crush?

Yes. No. maybe? all I wanted in the first place was the friendship. Now it seems to have gone overboard!

Uh huh?

Ok.  I will quit the crush...   Tomorrow.
