Miss Matchmaker

Novel By: rebel

This is my new idea for a story. I created a character that is loved by all for her match-making abilities. The only problem is, is that she's never been in love herself!!! This teen, Anita Springwood, is one extraordinary girl...
Her abilities are put to the test when she's asked to fix the relationship of the most popular couple in Clover County High... View table of contents...

Clover County High is your average high school.

The cliques are just the same as in every other high school.

The teachers, though slightly more boring, are just like all others.

And the students...well, that's another story.

I guess you could say Clover County High is the breeding ground for-

A: Athletes

B: Porn stars

C: World leaders

Yeah, there's a mix.

Personally, I don't belong to any of those cliques.

I'm basically my own one.

Miss Matchmaker is what they call me.

That's what I do.

Hook people up.

My profession is known throughout the whole school. But it's not only the "hooking up" I deal with. I fix rocky relationships, i.e. emotionally unstable partners, stalkers, and/or fetishists. Practically anything to do with teen relationships, I can handle it.

Just last week, I had the job of comforting a year 8 girl, after she explained to me that her older boyfriend of 19 turned out to be......well.....a girl also.

That was intense. I mean, how do you explain the preferentials of transvestites?

Mr Flitcombe, my PDHPE teacher says that I should "broaden my horizons". He thinks that I don't fulfill my potential as a "class A Social worker".

Whatever, Sir!!! I TOTALLY am NOT becoming one of those weirdo's that sit in groups of even weirder people to talk about drug addictions and re-runs of 'Friends'.

My potential?

Well, it lies beyond the confines of these dirty school walls, that's for sure. Maybe some day I can help celebrities uncover the real reason their sex lives aren't amazing, or even assist those ever-struggling royals!!!

For now though, I'll be fine with teen-couple dramas.

Anyway, I don't know if it's just me, or has anyone else noticed that Mickey Lewis and Charmaine Froy have been distant from each other lately?

That CAN'T be a good sign. They are like the most popular couple in school. AND they're in my year. That's dangerous ground, enough.

And seriously, why would THEY be fighting? Aren't they like the perfect example of a natural clique couple?

I HOPE they're okay, and it's just a little thing. They couldn't possibly need my help...
