I am not ancient, but certainly older than most
When I get annoyed, I like to write and post
It is natural in due time to develop a routine
We become creatures of habit is what I mean
When I discover that I really like something
Then to that item or product I tend to cling
I am in particularly talking here about food
Buying the things I like to eat, helps my mood
Food companies bait me and slip me the hook
Then, when I depend on buying it and go look
It has been discontinued, gone without a trace
When I ask the sales clerk won’t look at my face
They say discontinued and stare at the floor
How’d it sell? “Couldn’t keep it in the store”
I just don’t understand, if it sells that good
I would think they’d keep making it, I would
This has happened three times this year
In just the past seven weeks, that is severe
Why don’t companies listen to the buyer?
Why do they stop selling what we all desire?
