Penelope had a wart sitting precariously on the tip of her nose;
She had a few more warts, hid by her shoes, on all ten of her toes.
She kept them covered; swearing to others she’d never expose.
Why Penelope had these ugly warts no one really knows.
Perhaps she caught them from a virus on a wind that blows;
she just wished this last wart wasn’t so obvious that it shows.
Now came a new one on her chin; adding more to her woes!
Poor Penelope now was reaching the lowest of all lows;
“How can I stop these things, before another one grows?”
a friend told her she went to a doctor once and had one froze;
So off Penelope went to the office of, Doctor Dan Stowes.
In a drawer first he looked, and then a very thin needle he chose;
“Now dear girl relax, if needles you fear, your eyes you can close.”
A sting was all she felt; to her surprise she was able to doze.
He woke her to say, “It’s all over now Penny,” with that she arose.
Days later she looked in a mirror; saw a sight she didn’t oppose;
She hooted and hollered; and then struck a light hearted pose;
no warts on her face; nor on feet;her toes she longer enclosed!
