The Infamous Gold-digger

Poetry By: Carina

Haha, a friend (named Chelsey) and I wrote this poem during class when we were bored...not the best time to write it but still! xD This is a form of satire, for I do not agree with these kinds of relationships. There now, now that that's out of the way, enjoy!! xD

Rubies are red
Saphires are blue
Because of your money
I'm in love with you
I like your Ferrari
Your Lamborguini too
Take me for a drive
Nothing else I'd rather do
With the wind in my hair
The sun on my face
Let's take it for a ride
Let's have a race
Sparkling diamonds
And riches galore
You have a big bank account
But I could really use more
Rivers of emeralds
Fountains of cash
What is this "love"?
Only money truly lasts
I've found someone else
Richer; this is true
Now I want a divorce
I no longer love you

~Carina~ and ~Chelsey~
