Madonna on the Rocks
Madonna
Madmomma
Wants us all
To gaze upon her
But let’s be fair
Who wants to stare
At a fifty-year old woman
In her underwear?
You have to admit
It takes some nerve
Targeting an audience
Of middle-aged perves
Queen of Pop?
Please please stop
Running round the graveyard
Like a mutton chop
Re invent yourself
You’ve done it before
Come back as a rug
Laid on a dancehall floor
Come back as a lady
When your bod with age is hoar
Come back as a bedside chest
But cover your drawers
Please.
