WORDY GURDY MAN
Rhythm is a word most find distasteful
On account of its strange “h” and “y” placement
A special word as it contains no vowels
Its applied to music and the workings of your bowels
Deity is a word that breaks the mould
Its difference makes sense once the story is told
“I” before “e” except after “c”
A simple rule that’s plain to see
But when there’s a scene
With a “d” to be seen
It catches the eye
That “e” comes ‘fore “i”
Manoeuvre is a pain because of its diphthong
Vowels squashed, saving space cos its too long
In the midst of discussion it may be construed
As a vacuum that no women can use.
Diarrhoea is a word that nobody likes
Its hard to spell with connotations of shite
It also sounds like “it’s dire ‘ere”
Confusing again if you dye your ear!
