We went camping
Into the bush we were tramping
The tent was erected
After the plot was selected
The food was great
We were full by eight
Turned into bed at nine
The weather was no longer fine
Around eleven thirty
The tent was no longer sturdy
It had started to rain
I wish we had tied it down with chain
The wife started to moan
The wind was now full blown
The kids were sleeping tight
Nothing could give them a fright
The weather started to calm
Unlike the kids mom
When morning came
Only I was there to blame
We started to pack our gear
I had no more beer
Towards home we headed
Camping again would be dreaded
