It growls
It grumbles
A mysterious monster
So useful
So well structured
But betraying at times
It pangs and tosses
Reminding you of your needs
It wants something
So bad
Delicious scents excite it
But only for a little
Another pang
Finally time to feed the raging beast
An empty tummy is no fun.
