A CHALLENGE (just for fun)

Poem By: Michael T Ingram
Humor

I've started a poem...add to it in the comments section, but be sure to use the same meter (sound it out and use a similar amount of syllables), the same punctuation after each line, and the same 4 lines before starting a new stanza...and have fun!

Tell a little about your day...or just yourself, if you like! View table of contents...

I wake up in the morning,
grab some coffee, and my harp;
then I praise the Lord a little,
He's so gentle, NEVER sharp...

We talk awhile, and cuddle,
I feel so good when He is near;
I feel like I am needed,
He takes away my fear...

And now here is my challenge:
add to my poem above;
follow metre, punctuation too,
(and do it all in love)...

It's really not that hard,
and I think you'll find it fun;
I love to rhyme away the time,
(but it's not for everyone)...
