Something for John Quixote to Wear

Poetry By: Mistress of Word Play

I am giving my friend John this gift, because he fills my days with laughter and smiles. I hope he likes it half as much as I enjoy his stories.

"Oh no!" John cried, "I have nothing to wear."
In a panic and frenzy he searched everywhere.
He asked his sister and his mother, too.
They couldn't help him so he felt blue.
He asked his girlfriend but she said, "Not me."
He was all in a tizzy by a quarter past three.
Then he messaged a friend from Booksie.
She offered to help and laughed with glee.
Susan presented him an outfit he might adore
something that would make John hard to ignore.
A note was added and a big curly red bow
I hope John likes it, please let me know.
For you John I found this just hanging around and it had your name all over it.
Thank you for all the joy you bring. Susan
