monday

it was a bad day
and it was going on for infinite length
i'm pissed
i wanna slash my wrists
if only i could summon the strength
door bell
oh hell
its a funny little man that i see
and he asks me what's wrong
and then he breaks into song
and this is what he's saying to me
the faces of the ancients wore stony frowns
i guess it must have been the style
you look so blue
but when i'm finished with you
i'm gonna leave you with a stony smile
that done
he rolled a fat one
and he planted it right in my face
one puff
but it was strong stuff
i was transported to a different place
nice man
i wanna shake hands
but the man had disappeared with no clue
so i've taken his place
and when i saw your sad face
i knew i had to sing this to you
the faces of the ancients wore stony frowns
i guess it must have been the style
you look so blue
but when i'm finished with you
i'm gonna leave you with a stony smile
