I'm not the tall drinking glass

I'm just the little shot

Some people think I'm brass

Others think I'm rot.

~

On my desk there is no clutter

I write what comes to mind

Some think it's in the gutter

Others think it's in my behind.

~

The difference between some

and the ones I call the others

Is like jelly on a bun

and bread and peanut smother...

butter.

~

I was'nt the brightest dunce in class

but I've dulled down to dim

Some would say what was that

Others catch it on a whim.

~

When serious I can be wise

When funny, you tell me

Some people make those ties

Others hurry to get free

~

The difference between some

and the ones I call the others

Is like jelly on a bun

and bread and peanut smother...

butter.
