Simple look at one of my nights

Awake, I stare at the ceiling;
I just ignore the annoying buzzing.
Too tired to even sleep,
My mind, there is no comforting.
I can't even bother to take off my glasses,
Nor to shut off the light.
My thoughts are running amuck in my head,
I fear I've forgotten wrong and right!
Ah, after a while of laying,
I get up and shut off the alarm clock.
I stumble to get some breakfast, now,
But the noticing of the time hit me like a rock!
3:43 am! I can't eat now!
Oh well, I guess I'll find something to do.
Log onto my computer, click on the browser,
Go on my way to YouTube.
I see the sun is rising now,
I close the laptop and put it away.
"I think I'll go and sleep now"
To no one in particular, I say.
