Feet (I don't like my toes!)

Poetry By: Vickery

A male friend couldnt understand why I was so keen on hiding my feet from him, as were a lot of my friends. So here is the reason!

I really don't like my toes
and I partially blame that
girl in the stilettos, who kindly
broke big-toe number one by
falling off the dance floor in
Octagon. Now the second big-toe
was my own fault, Summer Ball,
first year too, I decided to buy my
first pair of heals-took no spare
shoes-five minutes later
decided they weren't for me, chucked
them at a wall and walked in bare-feet.
Now, my little hunch-back toes I
can blame on my mother, whom
I've inherited one thing after another and
she can also be blamed for my
dislike of feet because she used to
massage them when I was young
to make the skin soft and neat. So
you'll never catch me with my socks
off, in peep-toe shoes or flip-flops
and may someone help you if you
dare touch my feet,
'cause I'll boot you so hard
you'll end in the street.
