It was a dark an' stormy neet,

Thur wur two men in a boat,

An' one said 'tut 'tuther,

"Tell us a story bill",

An' he said "alreet"...

(This bit is what it really says, without the accent)

It was a dark and stormy night,

There were two men in a boat,

And one said to the other,

"Tell us a story bill",

And he said "Alright"...

It was a dark and stormy night,

There were two men in a boat,

And one said to the other,

"Tell us a story Bill",

And he said "Alright"...

It was a dark and stormy night,

There were two men in a boat,

And one said to the other,

"Tell us a story Bill",

And he said "NO!"
