I stared blankly out the window as it rained. The black cat sat in my lap purring in a lazy manner. Looking down I sighed as I stroked the cats head.

"Dear one.....Why does it rain? I swear that the little drops will never stop torturing me with their endless chatter aginst the windowpane..." I says softly. The cat whom I had name Razzle just opened one golden eye and then closed it.

"I should have known you wouldn't answer me. I think I shall go to the Paint Room and paint a little....what about you?" again the cat just opened one eye. Shaking my head I put the cat down and slowly got up. My body creaked pretty bad for a 22 year old. But then again that was life. Making my way down the hall way I stopped to look at a certain painting. It was of a little girl. She had blonde hair and blue eyes and was wearing tattered clothing and standing in the rain.  I frowned slightly.

"tell me little Laylin..how are you doing today? Good? Thats good. Its raining here too. You say that your kitty ran away...Aww. I shall have to help you find it.. Where do you think it has gone? To west gate you say? I don't know if you will ever find your poor kitty there..." Shaking my head I turn to leave to head to the paint room. "Well I hope you find your kitty.. It would be such a shame to lose it. Well I'll talk to you later Laylin..."

I hated the fact she lost her cat. She looked so sad. He was her best friend. SHe usually lost him at least one or twice a week. So I wasn't worried that she wouldn't find him. Walking into the paint room I looked around at the different paintings.  There were landscapes and once agian the painting of the little girl. Confused I walked up to it.

"I thought you were just in there? Did you find your cat? Oh! You did! Thats good. I am so happy for you. Tell me how did you get in here? You walked? Wow. So what are you doing in here? Oh just resting. Thats alright. YOu can watch me paint." I sat down at the little paint desk and picked up the paintbrush then started to paint......

The little girls eyes still on me...one could swear she was smiling.
