I love you…

I knew it. You love me. Since the first day I saw you in the park, I knew it. Deep in my heart, I had always seen a girl like you. And my dream has been answered. I always thought you were following me and today you have come and admitted it. You are…

Stop it. Stop it…

No, I will not stop. I will do anything you ask me but I will not stop. I have to tell you so many things. My heart is so full of love. It was finding an outlet. And today I have found you. Let me tell you something. I am looking forward to a wedded blissful life. A few kids and we will have a wholesome family. You will like your life with me…

Allow me to say something…

No, no, no. You don’t have to say anything. You have already said everything. It is my turn to say. I have to say so much. No girl ever said these three magical words to me. I can see stars shining. It is such a sweet feeling. What are you doing this weekend? I…

Give me a break, will you? I wanted to say I love your poodle. It is so cute.

Oh! Then why didn’t you stop me from talking so much.

I did but you…

Oh! I know, you like listening to me. Most girls are my fan. They love hearing what I have to say. They love hanging around me. I have the gift of gab. Even you…

You are nuts...

Most people do think that ways about me but then they come around. And then...

Help...help. Will someone help me, please? Police, police...

Yes, I am a cop. You will find none friendlier than me. I can help you out in any situation. If you need me in the dead of night, I will be there. I...

(She runs away.)

Oh! She's too shy. She just didn't have the time to hear me out... Never mind. There, that one. Hi...

I have come across such chatter boxes. What life they live. Real humorous piece, this. He cannot take no, rather he cannot understand NO.

This is light humour. The best thing is the boy remains on the scene till the end. Three cheers for boys. Otherwise girls've overtaken boys literally everywhere.

hi! mikey. thanx for such a beautiful comment. some people r like ur ex-girlfriend. ha! ha!! haaa!!! ;-)

Hi!

Thank you for signing up as a fan of mine. You are very talented! Keep up the writing.

A couple of suggestions:

be careful of your English syntax .. I suspect English may not be your first -- or only -- language.

For instance:

Most people do think that ways about me but then they come around. And then...

or

Most people think that of me at first ...

Most people feel that way (no "s" here)

Forgive me if these are just typos...

But the bottom line is that most people will think you ARE funny.

Go for it!

P.s., If your piece on your mother is autobiographical, TALK to her about your feelings. You may both feel better...

Frank

hi! frank. thanx for these suggestions. this is the typical lingo here among friends (they feel they r being intimate.) and i like that 'coz they r comfortable.

my mom isn't like this and she hasn't read this (!). she's a typical home bird, much into food, entertaining guests, outings etc. this is my fictional visualisation. enjoy it for what it is worth. ;-)

Hehehe... I hope I never meet a crazy guy like that. Seriously, some people....hehehe.

hi! tora. thanx for the visit. ;-)

You have excellent pace and a great knack for conversation. You need to practice the set up as the middle part became blurry and the voice (the I or the you) was lost for a few lines. Great work!

Author Comment:

hi! juli. thanx for pointing it out. a discerning reader is a great asset to add to the work. and welcome to booksie. ;-)

awsome! you did amazing with that!

Posted: Jun 1, 2008

Author Comment:

hi! carina. i'm glad u liked it. ;-)

First I wanted to say I like the story, but your thoughts are incomplete at times, and some sentences can be combined for a smoother read.

One example:

I love you( this isn't needed-> (…) Why not combine a little here. Something like:

I love you, (And I knew it,) you love me (too). (Every) since the first day I saw you in the park, I knew (This is to vague-> (it). Maybe change it to. I knew all of this to be true.

New sentance-> (Down) deep in my heart, I had always seen a girl like you (in my dreams), and now my dream(s) (have) (not has) been answered.

A transtion is needed here, I think->(And further more, before this wonderous day dawned,) I (had) always thought you were following me(,) and today(,) you have come and admitted it. You are…

(No,)stop it. (Just stop it will you) Stop it…

(But I can't), and I won't. I will never stop. Ask of me anything, but this, and I will do it gladly.

I hope this helps. Joe

hi! joe. thanx for these inputs. this is flash fiction in first draft. so many details i wanted to add, i just didn't for that'd increase the word limit. so brevity claimed much.

but what u suggest, sounds perfect and'd improve the story. thanx for the additions. this interaction improves my thought process. ;-)

Oh, I see. My bad. I didn't even know what flash was until just now when I googled it and found out. Well, that being the case, I will now remove my foot from my mouth, and take a big step backwards. Please disregard my suggestions.

Thanks Joe.
