''How is the wine?'' the host asked his dinner guest.

''Just wonderful,'' his dinner guest complimented, taking another sip. ''So smooth, so fruity.''

   They continued eating.

   ''How are the vegetables?'' the host asked.

''Different....but tasty. What did you saute them in?''

''A red wine base, along with certain ''secret spices.''

''Vey good, very good indeed.''

             ''How is the desert?'' the host asked, taking a bite of his. His lips, once pale, now seemed to gleam a reddish-white.

''A tad bittersweet, but otherwise quite tasty. But, by the way, if you don't mind me asking, why did you serve the desert before the main course?''

     ''I haven't prepared it yet,'' replied the host, shooting his guest a devilish grin.

''Why?'' asked the guest.

''Because YOU are the main course, my love.'' said the host.

             ''Oh Jeffery,'' the guest said, blowing his host a sloppy kiss. ''You are such a joker.''
