Walking like Edward
I walked down the school hall with Edward beside me. I observed his perfect walk and I grew envious. Everything he did was perfect. He noticed me staring and he grew curious.
“What’s wrong?” He asked, wrapping his arm around my waist.
“Nothing.” I lied.
As we walked down the hall I tried to walk the way he did and I thought I was doing pretty well. Everyone smiled at me as we passed them. And then Edward looked down at me, concern covering his face.
“What’s wrong with your legs?”
My face turned a dark shade of red. I wasn’t paying attention and I stumbled. Luckily Edward was with me. My face grew even redder.
“I can carry you if there’s something wrong” He was getting ready to pick me up when I held up my hand.
“There’s nothing wrong with me. I was trying to… I was trying to walk like you.” I looked down at the floor.
I heard him chuckle. I looked up at him and glared. He covered his mouth with his hand and he managed to compose himself.
“I like the way you walk.” He leaned down and gently kissed my cheek.
