Robert the Dandelion Seed

Short Story By: Mellyface
Humor

A little something I wrote a while back for a contest.
The rules were to tell a story in three sentences, with a beginning middle and end.
I didn't win anything in the conest but was still quite proud with my entry, so I thought I would post it here anyhow.

Enjoy. :] View table of contents...

During an unusual spell of blustery weather, the wind had been carrying Robert the dandelion seed through the air for some time, and he deeply longed to touch the ground once more.

Over the days he had only nearly grazed a peice of grass and then been swept up again, but today, with a flutter of hope in his heart, he felt the wind die down; he saw he was surely headed for the dirt.

He landed there peacefully in the warm soil, with a feeling of pure bliss, until three minutes later came another light breeze which,to his dismay, flew him away once more.

For being so short it was entertaining. I enjoyed the feeling, and imagery it presents.
