Today I ask little Jimmy

“Where would you like to go?”

“To the Zoo” he said excited,

“To see Lions, Monkeys, Giraffes, and you”

I said “What do you mean see me too”

“Well they have Gorilla’s there don’t they?”

“Yes but what the connection with a Gorilla and Me?”

“You’re both covered in hair from top to toe

Plus mum always says when a Gorilla appears on TV

There’s your dad again”

“Is that right” I said a smile on my face

Thinking of the night before when she asked

“Are you ever going to mend that swinging chandelier?”
