Donuts at First Sight

Short story By: offsstories
Humor

This is a [very] short story about two people that fall in love. Wow I just gave away the story. Anyway, it is badly written on purpose and really just a stupid story. If you want to visualize the characters, visualize stick people because that's what I draw best. The characters and locations in this story are fictitious and are not created to resemble anyone in real life. I made them up entirely. If they happen to resemble- or remind you of- anyone you know, it is mere coincidence. Also, I do not condone any illegal behaviors/activities portrayed in this story.
Honestly this story is just testing the waters of Booksie.

Evan walked down the street. He was a confident young man, and he was on a mission. He was going to steal a car. Now I should step back a moment and let you know that while Evan was confident, he had no reason to be so. You see, Evan had a disorder commonly know as Stupid. When a person has Stupid, they are actually said to acquire the traits of Stupid and are considered to actually be Stupid. So basically what I just said was this: Evan was stupid. And confident. But mostly stupid.

Anyway, Evan thought he had a good reason to steal a car. He wanted to get some donuts and by jingo if he didn't get some donuts he would have to eat something else like an apple or something! Yes, Evan, we all agree, your life is dirt. We sincerely hope you get that car so that you can drive across the street from where you are planning to steal it and buy your donuts.

We will now turn our attention to Megan. Megan was a sweet maiden who enjoyed playing the piano and cooking. Just kidding she didn't like cooking! She liked eating. But even more than eating or playing the piano, Megan liked spiders. No, wait, that's not right. Megan was allergic to spiders I think. I think she probably liked riding in the park on horses or something like that. Because that's what girls like to do usually. They just kind of cook and play piano and ride horses, except Megan didn't cook but she liked good cooking, which was fine because she was very confident in herself, maybe because she was super fit and better than everyone else. That could be the reason.

So anyway, Megan was playing the piano and decided that she wanted donuts. She went outside to the driveway to get in her car. There she saw Evan trying to start her car. Now I don't believe in love at first sight, and it doesn't matter because that has nothing to do with this story.

Megan had never met Evan, but, being the confident woman she was, she marched confidently over to her car (it was a convertible of course, I know Evan couldn't have gotten in a locked car!) that he was sitting in, pulled out her keys and told him in her mesmerizing voice, "You can't drive without the keys stupid". She always talked elegantly.

Evan looked at her, and their eyes met, and they both realized they were both extremely confident. So they fell in love and Megan gave Evan the keys and got in the passenger seat and they went and got donuts. And then they went out for pizza.

And they lived happily ever after.

The End
