Fondest greetings to you all. I am not very good at writing introductions, but I will do my best.
My name is Erica, though most everyone refers to me as Eri.
I first began writing creatively back in early 2000 and at once fell in love with the form of creative expressionism. It has become a way for me to relieve stress and share my creative visions with others. Unfortunately, about four years ago I suffered from a major illness that very nearly took my life, then this past year I suffered a relapse that stopped my heart.
It was only by a miracle that I have found the strength to recover and continue forward with my life. I devote it now to my family and continuing to write, draw and create in any way I possibly can. I am not sure exactly what else to say, so I guess the best way would be to do a small summary about my likes.

Favorite authors: Nathaniel Hawthorne, Edgar Allan Poe, and Bram Stoker
Favorite Musicians: Nightwish, Ludo, Within Temptation, Gackt, Trans Siberian Orchestra
Favorite things: coffee, coffee, coffee, and coffee.
Well, that will do it for the time being. Thank you for reading and I hope to meet many new friends here.
If I see fit to edit this later down the road, I most certainly will.

Just a small thing I wish to make known: If you wish for me to read and comment or critique some of your work, please do not simply leave a comment on my profile asking me to do so. It would be much more appropriate to first comment on some of my work. After all, I do not go to random writers' pages and spam their walls with requests for reads. I comment on their work and simply hope that they would do the same. I would appreciate it very much if that same courtesy was applied here. Thank you.
