I am married to a good man who is my dearest friend and my partner in the truest sense of the word. I have an extraordinary son without whom I would be a lesser person and I would be living a life devoid of color.  I am surrounded by a huge family who love me no matter what and who all share the same peculiar view of the world that I do.

I am full of contradiction and eccentricity; supremely fallible; not easily angered, but completely unreasonable when I am.  I am loved by those who matter to me and forgiven by the One who loves me most of all. Because of that, when I forget to be grateful, it’s just plain whining.

I began writing out of frustration.  Not mine you understand.  Mostly that of my friends and family who have been audience to my endless telling and retelling of stories.  Oh they all try to humor me, but I was beginning to recognize the look.  You see, I am not the "just the facts ma'am" kind of storyteller.  I'm more the "you can't possibly appreciate this story unless you have every excruciating detail" kind.  And so, in their defense, I began to write.  In the process, the stories found a voice and I found the most fun I'd had in years.  Worked out pretty well all the way around.

For those who take the time to read my ramblings, I thank you.  I am quite certain that my family thanks you as well.  I also look forward to reading the work of other writers who give their ideas voice and who share their words with the rest of us.
