My entire life, I have been connected to language and movement. I refer to myself as Junko, Born June 16, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois started writing poetry and stories I I was between 1st and 2nd grade and joined my first poetry club in seventh. I had always had an appreciation for writing, in fact, it's my main ambition in life. Along with being a prestigious writer, I have been an actor, dancer, and singer since birth. I got my first job when I was thirteen for Teen Talk Radio Theatre which was an apprenticeship for teens fourteen to eighteen, to work on vocal, theatrical, lyrical and poetic potential. It was through this experience that I realized how passionate I was about my major ambition in life, which is expression. I continue in high-school as a ballet dancer and a spoken word artist where my writing style mirrors Edgar Allen Poe’s eerie poetic sense and Mildred D. Taylor’s personal connection to the past. I am an aspiring novelist (has been for three years) and I can't wait until I'm in college so I can work on my creative writing developement.
