My poem You and I is based on me and my boyfriend. It is...
I am 20 years old, I have graduated high school and now out of college and planing on going back in the summer. I not only chose what course of study I am going to take but I have made my decision on what I want to do with my life. I want to join the Army to become a soldier and not only that but I will graduate from college. I am determined to follow my heart right now and from now on and right now my heart is telling me that if I want to be in the Army I need to keep that goal in mind that way I will not let myself down. I am going to follow my heart and not follow what my mind is telling me. So hopefully I will join the Army and become the person I dreamt of being. My plans for this spring are to take the ASVAB and pass and officially become the person I have always longed to be. Thats my plans. Will they turn out like I think they will? Maybe. I want to be the person Ive longed to be thats why I am going after my dreams and making them come true.
