I just found out that one of my fave writers here on booksie and a great friend of mine is going to quit writing (online). After reading her profile, it just made me so sad now. :( I loved her writing and what saddens me more is not a lot of people appreciate her. Her stories aren't cliched, meaning she goes way beyond that and tackles a lot of subjects when it comes to plots for her stories. I can see a future best seller author being made, she just doesn't know yet how amazing she is. A large fan base does not meaning anything. Once you get out in the real world that's where you'll see your fan base. I am going to miss her and her stories so much. So many talented writers are quitting and right now i've fully decided that the novels posted are all going to be finished one at a time. After that, I done. No more writing. I'm kinda tired, to be honest. All i wanna do is bury myself with lots of books and just read, read and read. :(

This is beginning to be my mini blog. LOL so anyways, first off... I lost a few lbs!!! I started to go back the gym and i'm walking everyday. I know 2012 will be a good year (weight wise) i'm having my daily dose of citrus. Fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning! I stopped midnight snacking and just drink water when i get home from work. I'm a little shakey from getting rid of rice. Ugh... I miss it. But i feel much lighter now and my pants can fit me again. LOL i need to lose it little by little. I can do this, i know i can. :) second, my manager approached me and asked if i can apply for a temporary night position for 1 year. It'll be my training so when a higher position opens up i can have a greater chance of getting it. So happy! According to her inwas the best candidate for it. (blush) :) i'm all smiles right now. I can't type any new chaps today or tomorrow... I'm gonna be busy applying for it and do some shopping with my mother-in-law who's leaving soon. Much love to you all and thank you. :)

I have to admit... My biggest depression would be my weight. I've always been stressed with it thanks to people who keeps telling me that I'm pretty, but I'm much more prettier when I'm slimmer. I really want to rant my heart out because I am really upset. It's not my fault I'm like this. I've lost weight before and believe me I had tried. Without my husband at my side it's so impossible. But I want to omit that word from my life. Everything is possible and with a little determination I know I can do it. It takes some time but one day I will. I'm happy with myself and I learn to embrace every imperfection that I have. I don't want to change myself just because people see me "prettier" when I'm skinny. I'm very healthy according to my doctor and I'm always moving around. It's not my fault why I'm like this. God, I'm so tired of this whole weight thing. I'd rather be big and healthy than skinny but with lots of health problems. I'm just thankful I'm NOT suicidal and there's no way in hell I would be. (SIGH)

I'd be lying if I tell you i'm not jealous of my friends who just bought their first homes. My sis-in-law just bought a house a few months ago and i'm living with her since the husband is stationed in Colorado. My mother-in-law keeps telling me that one of these days when we're ready we'll buy a new home. I saw how my SIL's new home was built from scratch. It's amazing. :) by that time i'm hoping to have my second baby. My mom-in-law is against us buying a second hand home since she'll be giving the down payment for the house (she's the best MIL ever!) so i am really excited to own a brand new house! :) ahh... I'm in no hurry. Everything happens for a reason so I'll let the chips fall into their places. God is good and I know he'll provide us and he will take care of us. :)

While waiting for my son to get out of his class, my brain has finally concocted another novel idea!!! Yes, yes, yes sometimes I want to lock this brain of mine and throw away the key. LOL ok, so it's another love hate story of course... The school will be at Olympian high this time. Someone suggested a few months ago if I can make my own contest... After a lot of thinking... I think I'll give it a go. :) I've been invited to lots of contests in the past and so far 3 of my babies (short stories) had made it. When "saving Eira white" garnered 1st place in nickystokes contest I started to think of creating my own contest. Now I finally came to a decision! :) since July 25 is my 9th wedding anniversary with hubby I think it's better if I release a picture contest specifically for "Romance" only. Then the second future contest would be fantasy.... :) so I already have pictures ready, as well as the prizes... The contest will start on August, so stay tuned!!! :)

I've posted the character pics for "The key To Your Heart" it's kinda connected with "Do you love me...?" but not really, this time it's about kyler and deidre from across the street, they're the neighbors of Clarey and they also go to Bonita vista high. :) so once in awhile we'll still see Evan and Clarey throughout the story since they're one of Kyler's friends. Hope you guys like it!

If any of you are wondering where i got the inspiration from writing DYLM it's from my fave actor kevin zegers movie with samaire armstrong it's a girl boy thing where they were neighbors and they hated each others guts. Although in the movie they swap bodies. LOL I'll reveal where AMIP's inspiration come from at the very last chapter. :)

I miss him so much... And I think he'll get deployed to Afghanistan/Iraq once he gets to Colorado. :( We had a long heart to heart talk on the phone and I think it took us an hour... longest phone conversation EVER. :)

OMG. I've been brewing a story at work and it's gonna be my 2nd army romance novel! No title yet, still in the works. So here it is: *** Isla bloom is a heiress. rich, brat, playgirl and a well known party girl. What isla wants, isla gets. She gets so drunk one night at a club and passes out on the street. She wakes up in a hotel with a guy a few years older than her. Turns out the guy is a soldier! His name is Maxwell Freeman. He leaves her there and she tries to find out who he is and where he lives. *** All my stories are set in my favorite places which is Hawaii, san diego and south carolina (all which have military bases) and some characters are sometimes linked together from another novel (ex: isla bloom - celina anne bloom's cousin who is also a heiress to the bloom shopping centers around the world from the story: "do you love me... Do you love me not?" And all my stories have love triangles and they always have a favorite place to hangout like "pop tates" from the archie comics and from the tv show friends (my fave) which is the central perk coffee shop. :)

Are you guys the same way? Coz when i'm doing some of my work my brain tends to brainstorm for more novel ideas. I doubt if i'll ever finish them all. (sigh)

I created a wattpad account last night. I'm not really feeling it? I don't know, booksie is still the best. So add me up, katiecruz it's still empty at the moment and until every one of my friends have moved over there I'll move there as well, but this account will still remain here for more booksiers to read. ;) and yeah I also have inkpop under katie cruz as well, but bleeehh... no comment. :/ I finally have the first chapter of "Endlessly yours"! This novel will be pretty short maybe less than 25 chapters, so yeah. :) "My dream angel" will be paused, I don't have the inspiration to continue it. Maybe in the near future. :(

I'm so sad.. One of my close friends here on booksie had moved on to wattpad! I might just make an account there too. One day when i have the time, but that doesn't mean i'll abandon booksie. I'll still be here! (stupid plagiarism.. And for booksie for not doing anything about it...)

Ok, so i made up my mind! After 'A moment in paradise' i'll be doing 'Endlessly yours' my army romance novel it's only 25 chapters and an epilogue, so it's pretty short. :) after that it will be 'Do you love me... Do you love me not?' which is 30+ chapters. I'm proud to say i am not leaving booksie. Never! Inkpop's ok, but i'm not really feeling the atmosphere there. Nobody really cares much about stories, i think what's popular there are the covers. :/ so yeah, i'm forever booksie! At least i have lots of friends here.... Love you, guys! :D

OMG! I'm not even done with my novels now I have another one in the making, It's an Army love story, a sequel to my short story "That eternal flame", Thanks to Jessie (Twilightandsoftballfan15) for urging me to make a novel! yay! bless her! But it won't come out in a month or two, by that time it's almost the ending of "A moment in paradise".. so yeah, more romance novels! yay!

Ok, so like 3 weeks ago I joined inkpop and the other day I started to upload my novels there, so far in 2 days "A moment in paradise" is on 13 people's pick list. The first day I uploaded it I saw it on one of the trendsetters top picks on the front page of the site. YAY! :D But it seems like that site is just all about swaps and whatnot. I still prefer booksie, coz at least somebody gets to read your stuff! :) so yay booksie!

(sigh) you know sometimes i just wished i didn't discovered booksie at all. I don't know... I just feel down right now, stressed from work and all.... Sometimes, i just wanna quit. Bleeehh...
