All about me: I’m Katlyn Hoover, Katie, KT, Lil’ Blondie (lol), or Kate to my friends and readers. I have been writing forever. It started with poems that I thought would someday be music, but it slowly progressed to much more. In middle school, I began to write about a group of girl super heroes (It was called the Six Super Sisters. I was kind of a weirdo haha). Now I mostly focus on teenage love and drama.

I am a simple girl. I like to spend my free time with my amazing friends and family. I love going to the movies. Just saw Warm Bodies. It was amazing. It was kind of a modern day Romeo and Juliet. I liked it more than the Notebook which is strange. I love the shows True Blood, Big Brother, and New Girl. I love the color blue and have lived in Florida all my life. My biggest dream is to leave this place.

If you ask any of my friends, I also like to dye my hair. I eat every second of the day. I can’t help it. Food is amazing, especially Italian food. I have hazel eyes. I’m twenty years old, born September 22, 1992. I get inspired by real life. I often incorporate events that actually happen to me. That doesn’t mean that everything I write about is true. I make my characters strong which is a quality in people that I love. I also admire people who can admit when they are wrong.

I know it can be annoying and confusing, but I write myself in as the main character. If I don’t it’s hard for me to get inspired. If I can put myself in the character’s situation I dream bigger.

I love helping people. If any of you need help with anything you let me know. I will also read anyone’s work. It doesn’t matter what it is. It may help encourage me if you read and comment on my work though.
