You may have heard about this, or you may not have. Recently, a young girl named Katelyn Norman became a national hero after battling cancer for two years and finding out that it spread to her pelvis and spine. She lived in the same town as me and you would not believe how the community came together for her. I went to school with Katelyn, but unfortunately I never got the chance to know her personally. Still, I wanted to do something special for her and her family so I thought I'd put my talent to good use and draw a portrait of her. Sadly, Katelyn didn't get the chance to see it while she was alive. She passed away peacefully in her sleep a few hours after I finished the portrait. It broke my heart, but I know that she has seen it from up in heaven and I'm sure that she appreciates it. THANK YOU KATELYN NORMAN FOR INSPIRING ME!!!

Hello! My name is Kendra Marie. I've been on Booksie for about four years now. I love writing, but I won't post a new story unless I think it has potenial. I want to be a well-known author one day so I'm just trying to get my work out into the world. This is me . . .
I don't mind taking reading request, as long as I have time in which you will see the "open for reading request" box marked with an X. I'm usually kinda busy though with writing and senior year. I'm so glad to finally be 18! My birthday was Jan. 13th and Jan 14th was my two year anniversary with my boyfriend. Anyways, I hope you guys like my work and give me some feedback on how I can improve my writing. :)
To ALL OF MY BEAUTIFUL BLOOD FANS: I know that you have all been waiting for this for so long. I apologize for taking such a long time to stop being lazy and bring this story back to Booksie. I miss the feedback and support that I have gotten from the best thing I have ever written. I hope to see old and new fans giving this story the love and support it had before. I will be picking Beautiful Blood back up as I also finish out the rest of my high school career. New chapters are coming up and I can't wait for you all to read the long awaited chapter 11! Thank you all for your support, you made me realize that this story needs to be on Booksie and needs to be finished!
