Had to do an AAB structure blues song for music @ school,...
I just want to write stories and have readers who enjoy them. If you don't like them then I am sorry, we all have different tastes. One day I would like to become a journalist, covering scientific breakthroughs or reviews on books, films etc. and later on perhaps be an author. I enjoy gothic horror, dark fantasy, dark romance and adventure. I'm currently writing a series of short stories, 'The Baobhan Sith Journals', 'The Ladies of Loch Liulfr' is hopefully the first of many (Have now finished the 4th 'The Truth Will Out.') I hope to add other small pieces that are a bit more down to earth or just happen to be a bit shorter. Potentially in the future I might try sitting down and writing a novel but I can't see that happening any time soon. Oh, comedy! I love a bit of humour too!
By the way all comments are appreciated whether they be praise or constructive critiscism. I just want to improve on my writing techniques.
By the way, people who I should probably reccomend reading are:
Delilah Judd (writes romance in particular, short stories)
Kimberely Derrington (a good personal friend, she highly welcomes constructive critcism)
Maddie Grey (Such a talented writer- wow!)
TwoStepz (Love her nerdy romance story that's coming along- called 'The Love Games')
I have started a new novel (originally titled Naive but now Repressed because other content on the site has that title) for Voice Of Zora's Half A Year contest I'm entering. Please feel free to read and leave feedback. Much appreciated. Here's the synopsis:
Cathy has no recollection of her past, found left for dead, she is brought back from the brink of insanity. After her recovery she is chased by a group of people who want to wreak their revenge on her. Cathy must search through the concealing fog in her memory and face her inner demons that have ruled her past and threaten to destroy her future. What did Cathy do to provoke these people? Who was she before he memory became a blank? In her circumstances, would Cathy be naive to trust anyone? And in the end, will Cathy regain her freedom - or will her mind become unravelled all over again?
RIGHT, JUST SO EVERYONE IS AWARE, IT WILL PROBABLY TAKE ME A WHILE TO ADD MORE STORIES AND READ + COMMENT ON YOUR WORKS. AM VERY SORRY, BUT SCHOOL IS VERY BUSY AND I HAVE A NEW PUPPY AND SHE TAKES UP A LOT OF FREE TIME. THANKS X
