Retishella mermaid discovers that the only way to cure...
My day job is a primary school teacher in a West of England seaside town.
At other times, when my three children aren't demanding my attention I write about Retishella mermaid and her adventures.
The character was inspired by a walk on the beach. The water is an uninviting murky brown here. One day a fisherman pulled a fish from the tide, a bit like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat. I wondered what other creatures might be lurking, and Retishella was created.
