I am a former newspaper reporter and copy editor who has turned to the dark side - fiction that is. It's nice to write and not have to worrry about those pesky facts, although some would say I was never concerned about facts.

Although I did write a manuscript or two after college, my long fiction writing took a back seat to making a living. Much of the time I was in the newspaper business, I was working two jobs and then preparing for another career. Now that I am in a more secure position and have better hours than I had in the newspaper business, I thought it was time to try my hand at fiction again.

I have won two honorable mentions in short story competitions. I have two manuscripts that are circulating among publishers.
