Section One: Latest New

I am home now and working on getting better. I'm not on full hiatus anymore, but I still won't be active constantly. I may have periods of activity and periods of inactivity. Please be patient with me. I will slowly fulfill your reading requests and I'm hoping to launch a new 'series' of writings soon. However this is not my top priority as I'm still focusing on my health. 

Section Two: Autobiography

I'm just your average 19 year old fangirl. I hope to become a famous author someday, but I know it's a bit far fetched. I write original stories that I come up with, and I write fanfiction. You can find me on deviant art as Laur-icula. On Archive of Our Own as Lauricula, as well as fanfiction.net and harrypotterfanfiction.net. 

I don't know what I want to do with my life yet, but I believe that I still have plenty of time to figure that out. My boyfriend and best friend are supportive in my writing, and that's all I could ever ask for. They give me encouragement to continue writing, even when I lose faith in myself.

My younger brother means everything to me, and I'm so glad we've grown close lately. I'm so glad I'm reunited and living with my family again.

Some of my hobbies include writing (obviously), reading, finding FanFic, watching Doctor Who and sobbing, eating, sleeping, exploring the  world around me, spending time with my boyfriend, and playing The Sims.

If you like Harry Potter, or Doctor Who, or Sherlock you instantly have a shot at becoming my friend. Or if you buy me pizza.

Mayday Parade is my all time favorite band, I could listen to them for days. Imagine Dragons. Passion Pit. The Weeknd. All Time Low is another, but it's more of a guilty pleasure. I like other artists, there's just too many to name.

Section Four: Reading Requests and Fans

So I've come to realize that there are people who just fan me without reading any of my work. So from now, I will be checking that you commented on at least one of my works, before fanning me. I will do the same for you in return. If I like your work, and comment on it, then I will fan you. *Do not expect a fan in return just because you fanned me*.

As far as reading requests, I might be a bit slow with them sometimes, as I'm starting my next semester of college on Tuesday (1/22/13). I do not accept reading requests for full novels.. Ask me to read the first chapter, and I will be happy to do so. If I like it enough, I will keep reading on my own time. If you ask me to read an entire novel, your request will be denied. Please give me at least 72 hours to complete your reading request.

I try to provide constructive criticism, but it's not always possible depending on the quality of writing. If I take the time to write you a well thought out comment, please do the same for me. I try not to simply say "KMU or loved it!" as that doesn't provide you with much feedback.

I understand it's hard for some people to take criticism, so I try to be nice about it. But please, do not get mad at me for giving you criticism when you gave me the reading request in the first place.

I know we are all some sort of authors on here, but if any of you have a writing request, and want me to write something, I'd be more than happy to! You can leave a comment on my page or send me an email!

One last note here, please do not leave comments on my work advertising your works. Quite frankly, it's rude because that's what your own page is for. I have not had this happen yet, but if or when it does, your comment, no matter how constructive or positive, will be removed if you advertise your work on mine. I will also notify you on your page that your comment was deleted, and give you the opportunity to comment again, properly. If you advertise on my work again, I will revoke my right to accept your reading requests. If you cannot show me the respect of not advertising, I will not show you the respect of accepting your reading requests.
