character pics & summary for upcoming novel
1) 'The Eleventh One': Finished <3
2)'Because There Was No Chai Tea': Finished <3
Hey guys! I'm on hiatus for a while! I'll be working on my next novel :) And on getting my Junior year of High School in IB started :P Ugh, this should be fun! (note the sarcasm in that) Anyways! I'll keep the summary for 'Because There Was No Chai Tea' because I'm really proud of this novel (:
So how did this whole thing start? Simple. It all started because of a murder. The murder of my mother. Gory? Not so much. Drugs, and… whatever else poisonous crap my twisted father could think of. Lovely isn’t it? Yet again, not so much. But that doesn’t explain how I, Nicola Scarlett Rose, fell in love.
After Nicola's failed attempt to escape her abusive father, he moves them to a small town in Georgia. Where she is enrolled in a new school and meets Tyler, who is determined to find out what is being hidden within the quiet girl. And as Nicola fights to hold herself together and keep her past from being exposed to the judgmental town, Tyler struggles to understand how she pushes through every emotional obstacle, and Lucy, the high school queen bee, continuously tries to break the fragile girl into the child she seems to think she is.
In her life Nicola realizes that everyone she lets in is taken from her and sets her mind on ending it after the last mistake. But she never thought that the start of letting someone in begins with a coffee shop running out of Chai Tea.
Genre: Young Adult with mild Romance.
