A long time ago, there was an ancient minister who was all alone and had no one to talk to or to lean on. This particular minister was part of a council full of elders, who watched over the world to make sure no evil was to ever befall it. Each elder had a certain power to protect the world with. So one day, during a council meeting, a strange looking black shadow filled the room. A flash of lightening came out of it and touched an elder. The elder exploded.

As you can imagine, this went on for a while, one elder dieing after the next. Afterwards there was only 3 elders left with the following powers: Telekinesis, Magic Blast, and the power of Time. A blast of lightening came out of the shadow. The one with Telekinesis threw the lightening bolt against a wall. All three of the elders quickly stormed out of the room and locked the door behind them. They were in a room that was dark and empty, the only light was a little candle on the side of a wall. The elders held the door up tight.

One elder said "What are we going to do? We haven't have much time left until that thing will destroy us all." Another elder said while looking at the elder across from him"I have an idea...first we're going to need yourpower to help us. I needyou to concentrate on the spellbookup in the tower and bring it down here fromit's pedestal." One of the elders quickly ran to the stairway leading up to the tower andfocused his powers on the spellbook.

Time went on and the door slowly begins torot as the black shadow appears loomingly on the other side. One elder sent a blast of magic heading towards the shadowy being, and the being was thrown back up against a wall. Another elder yells "We haven't much time left! It's either you get that book down now, or we're shadow meat!" After what seemed like hours, they finally got the book.

All three elders gathered around in a circle. Finally they flipped to a page where it had a picture of the shadow and words right next to it. The words were written in an ancient script, like a chant in a sense. The elders spoke the chant "Spirit of darkness, being of evil, be gone from this place, to stop it from upheaval" The shadow then started to swirl around like a tornado and quickly got smaller and smaller until it finally went away.

The elders, with relief went back into the conference room and had a little discussion on the fate of the Earth. An elder started "What will become of the world now? Surely 3 people can't keep the Earth safe. What happens if something like that comes back?" The elders thought for a while and a long pause filled the room. Then one of the elders piped up and said "Maybe, there still could be a way. What if we were to give our powers to humans?" The 2 other elders looked at eachother then looked back and said "NO!" The other elder said "Why not? It would be safer this way. Then we couldinsure the existance of us. Besides humans are kind of harmless anyways." Another elder said "Humans are harmless? Do you have anyidea on what you're getting us into? Ourpowers could beused for evil, doing something like that is like taking a gamble." The elder across from him said "But, what more can we do? Look,we've already been attacked, and any more attacks like that we can't afford. If theWarlocks were to ever get their hands on this book, they'd be more powerful then us. In our current state, we're justbarely powerfulenough to defeat them." Then one elder said "Yeah, let's just take the gamble...I seriouslydoubt the book is going to be in thewrong hands." With a sigh, the doubting elder said "I guess...."

All the elders gather around in a circle, with the book in the middle. The book is opened to a page entitled "Transference Spell"All three put their hands on the book andstarted to chant the incantation found on that page: "Powers of Magic, Telekinesis, and Time, transfer to the book through this rhyme." Suddenly,a light blue, a light purple, and a light greenspurt of magic came out ofthe hands of the elders and went inside the book.

Then the elders flipped through the pages of the bookto the page called Transport Spell, They read the incantation from that page as well: "Through this rhyme we transport this book, go tohands of good andlet hands of eviloverlook." The book was surrounded by little beams of light, the light started toswirl around the book till it encased the book into sort of a ball shape. Theball then blasted out of the room and went down to Earth, wherethe Elders hoped that someone down there wouldtake care ofthe spellbook.
