End of Story by Peter Abrahams is an excellent suspense filled book
with a very original group of characters with unique flaws.
Ivy is trying to make it as an accomplished writer while working in a bar
to pay the bills. She keeps sending her work in and it keeps getting
rejected. Needing money bad, she takes a job as a writing teacher
in a state prison, with convicted murderers and rapists as her students.
There she discovers that one of her inmate students has such
an unbelievable gift for writing it scares her. Determined to make him into
her mentor with success for her being the motive,
she springs him out of prison so he can focus on
mastering his writing talent. But Ivy soon regrets breaking him out,
and finds out he has been hiding a terrible secret that puts her
life at risk. Read this book. I really recommend it to anyone.
